  • Curried Kiddly Beans

    Ingredients:
    Canned Kiddly beans
    Onions, Garlic, ginger, cumin
    Chopped tomatos
    salt, turmeric, garam masala, ground corianderm cayenne pepper.
    olive oil, a bit of butter
    Water

    Process:

    Blitz in a blend or, chop your onions. Julienne or chop finely the ginger. In a saucepan, heated up some olive oil with a bit of butter. Add your cumin. Cook your onions til golden.

    Add your chopped tomatos. Coat all the onions. Add your salt, turmeric, garam masala, coriander and cayenne. Sautee the mixture, it might thicken up a bit. Add your canned drained kiddly beans. Stir to prevent burning.

    Add water, and cook through with lid for about 45 mins til the beans are squidgy. Monit or closely, pan should be 2/3s water; will need top the water else it will get thick and lumpy.

    Or, homegrown kiddly beans ... picked as shelly beans (part-ripened) and frozen until needed
