Hi - I made a spiced vinegar from a recipe to pickle some cucumbers and was wondering what it would be like if I just used malt vinegar on its own. Time is tight so it would be much easier. Would it just taste awful?
Also, I really crammed the cucumber slices in. Was wondering then if that was a bad thing. Maybe some the slices would not be touching the vinegar and not get pickeled/preserved correctly?
