  • Fresh borlotti beans

    Hi Guys

I reckon I will pick some of the borlotti beans I have grown tomorrow. When using them Fresh, do you just have to boil until soft (20 mins) ? Ive searched and looked and searched again and am getting confused. Also if you just freeze them from fresh in stead of drying I guess the same would apply?

I've never used (or grown) them before so any good recipes to would be GREAT

    thanks

Loads of bean recipes here http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ans_26962.html

Yes, you boil the beans for ten minutes, then simmer till tender.

Nearly all my bean plants of any type (including borlottis) got eaten during the summer floods (of slugs) I replanted 3 times and gave up after that!!

        Thats my moan over

        The recipes looks good though!!
