Nicos, I have been a pastry cook for 40 years and was impressed by the piped rose's, you should post your pictures to show how good you are, I don't take pictures of my work because it would bore me in the same way as it would bore a brick layer, we do our thing well and take pleasure in the end result.

After making my little girl's Birthday cake recently, I would lay good money on 'Rapunzel Looking Out Of Tower' in icing, swiss roll and 420 wooden skewers not holding everything upright, being the worse bit of cake decorating ever seen. I'm surprised none of the children screamed.
Anyway, I bet yours was way better than that. Perhaps we should have a 'Bl**dy Awful Attempts At Sugar Craft' thread, just to make some of us (me) feel better?
