Maybe not quite what you're looking for ...
but the sound delicious.
Would it be wrong to go and make some now?

Here's an idea you could tweak...
Thai custard in pumpkin « South Pacific engagement
You could add coconut milk to the custard- plus a few other Thai spices and serve with a slice of baked pumpkin.
I'm sure I wouldn't have the time to carve the pumkin like that- but it looks nice doesn't it?"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Birds Custard Powder is 14.9g carbohydrate per 100g (cooked weight) when made with whole milk. You might make it slightly lower carb if you make it with watered down double cream.
Per 100g cooked serving almost 15g of carbs. I guess that wouldn't be too hard to factor into a daily carb limit if you aren't ULC. For myself, I wouldn't touch it, but I don't know how low carb you go.
Serve it with a tiny slice of the low carb chocolate & raspberry cake;

Thankfully I'm never that fond of custard!
If you omit the 2 tbsps granulated sugar and replace it with xylitol (totalSweet in shops) you'll cut the carbs considerably. Xylitol is high in carbs but they are Polyols so your body can't break them down and they pass undigested.
PS I made that chocolate & raspberry cake with sliced fresh pears, and 2tsps powdered ginger seived in with the cocoa. Using 175g peeled fresh pear slices puts it up to 7g carbs per 12th of a cake.
You can also half this and bake it in muffin cases. It is terribly rich so you only need a tiny bit.Last edited by julesapple; 20-01-2013, 12:15 PM.Jules
