I've scrubbed his face and washed his hair - now he looks even more human Soon took the smile off his face with a sharp knife though. We're into experimental cookery stage now. If its OK I'll tell you - if not............
So far, I've eaten some raw and fed some to the dogs (the Hairy end!)
Then I cut it into thick slices - about 3/4 inch and microwaved them for 4 minutes - just about cooked - and I'm eating a slice as I type. Its not strong
What happens next is still under discussion between me and the other me - in other words I'm in two minds about what to do next!! May have to do 2 different things with it since we can't agree.
Don't think it will last that long Nicos. I keep nibbling the slices while I'm waiting.
I'm going to dip them in seasoned flour and roast them in the oven in a little oil, then put some thinly sliced Cambozola on top until it melts! What do you reckon?
I have not tried celeriac but with all the suggestions of what to do with it im hungry.. sounds nice.
I wonder if it would work added into boulangere potato, i like the idea of the celery flavour added.
RESULT!! I have to say - it was blummin luvly The celeriac was crispy on the outside and meltingly creamy inside with crusted blue cheese (Yorkshire Blue - not Cambozola) on top. Sorry, there's none left! I'm not afraid of eating shrunken heads any more - Thank you everyone
