    I steam mine , they are wonderful with salads or even roast diners, very versatile and yummy

      I make soup, In my 2nd pregnancy thats all I ate for bout 3 months with a omelet and toasty bread x

          Often with a white wine sauce. (which totally negates the asparagus being low in calories)...

                steam for five mins then toss in lots of melted butter and garlic. Or i do like an asparagus and new potato quiche, pretty darn tasty.

                        I am veggie but my OH loves it wrapped in pancetta with a sprig of rosemary baked in the oven with a bit of lemon. I just like with lemon, garlic and butter.
