How many times can you freeze bacon - different reason to JulesApple!!

Ok, so off abroad to visit dad in a few days and as usual I have a list of tea bags, brown sauce etc I always freeze bacon and take with me and it gets to him it time before completely thawed out.

This time however it will have thawed and be in a hotel room fridge before he gets it. Can it be re frozen? I usually take a fair bit and don't want to waste it!

If you buy bacon from a real butcher you can ask him to vacuum seal it- it can then last much longer at room temperature ( you'll need to ask him/her how long). Then your dad can freeze it.

It'll probably cost a bit more- but you can give him the added luxury of bacon with rind!!!.....drool drool!!!!
