Having run out of bread, and bread yeast, I thought we were doomed to eating flat-bread for the next few days. But then remembered we had a tub of wine yeast in the back of the fridge, so I thought I'd give it a go... Anyone done that? I wasn't sure whether to treat it as express yeast and just do one rise, or ordinary yeast and punch it back. I went for the former, and added a VitC tablet for good measure, thinking that I'll be lucky if it works at all never mind expecting it to work twice
