My mother in law made her way into our hearts though her cooking - she was great! So I tried one of her recipes and what a revelation! Battered fried courgette flowers YUM! I made a batter swirled them in it and fried them till crisp and golden delicious! Then of course I went off to see what else I could find which would be enhanced be being battered and fried! = Nasturtium flowers pumpkin flowers and some broccoli florets. What other flowers are edible? There'll be nothing left in the garden at this rate, the kitchen smells a bit oily too! Hey ho
