  • help with sourdough

Hi all, i need some advice on making sourdough. Ive cracked the starter, and my bread definitely has the proper sourdough taste and its got the right texture BUT the shape is too flat, i prove it in a basket and bake on a stone but it dousnt hold its shape. What am i doing wrong?

All I can think of is if you reduced how much water you use.

not sourdough, but this artisan bread tastes good and is foolproof .... you bake it in a cast iron lidded pot (such as a Le Creuset)

Dim that's just how I bake my sourdough loaves only difference is I use my own starter instead of store bought yeast.
