Just strained the rhubarb vodka as it had been brewing since June and I needed the jars for mincemeat. I thought I'd make the leftovers into a quick jam, so chucked in a few foraged apples and some sugar and cooked for a bit.
It now looks like snot, tastes nice but looks rank. Any inspiring ideas for what I can do with it? I thought about mixing it into cookies or flapjack but it's pretty snot like and might not work. I can't find any recipes other than thumb print cookie type things, but I want to disguise this phlegmy looking rankness as much as possible. Any ideas gratefully received.
