  • Apple Turnover - Pastry ?

    Seems they are usually done with puff pastry.
    Can I use filo instead ?

          Don't have either yet, friend is coming to visit and they are vegan. Know they like apple turnovers and just wondered if I could do some a little different. Also the filling will be grated apple not diced, and a blueberry or five.

          Mind you I did find a vegan recipe last night that said add 1.5 litres of chicken stock.

              Chicken stock in an apple turnover
              Wouldn't it leak?
              Using filo pastry would make it similar to baklava or strudel.......Noice
