How did you do the garlands? Or is that a trade secret? I won't tell anyone, just whisper it.....
Thank you Jules! Now if you promise to keep it to yourself, I make the garlands by clouring three separate pieces of fondant three shades of green (In this case Gooseberry, Christmas Green and Spruce). I roll each piece into a long sausage, then twist them together so they are stuck together but not totally blended, It's then just a case of breaking off a garland sized piece and attaching it to whatever needs "decking with boughs of holly (Fa la-la-la lah, la-la, la laah!). The texture is achieved using a pointed sugar craft smoothing tool, but much the same effect would be gained using a cocktail stick. Tiny sugar flowers were stamped out of red fondant, but you can buy them already done if you want.
Now, PROMISE me you won't let ANYONE else know! ;D

Fabulous work, CT. You are so talented.

I wonder why that icing bag and nozzle set jumped into my shopping trolley? Inspired by CT do you think?

Creemteez that is the most wonderful gingerbread carousel. I goggled gingerbread carousel to see what the rest of the world makes, and yours is far and away the very best, none of the other images I saw come anywhere near it. If that doesn't end up being the best raffle prize ever I'll be very put out on your behalf!.
I just love the finishing touch of the sparkly gold star on the top.
You are one very clever lady!
