Ha! You could try this one instead, I make it at least once a week and I often have requests to make them for Birthday treats....

                1 lb Sugar
                6oz plain Flour
                2 oz cocoa
                Good Pinch salt
                Teaspoon Vanilla Extract.
                7oz butter (Melted)
                4 Large eggs beaten.
100g good quality Choc (chopped up small)(or if you must, a bag choc chips, cut up mars bar etc)

Line a tin with foil and grease (A4 size)
In a bowl add, flour cocoa, sugar and salt and mix with a balloon whisk.
Stir in butter, then vanilla and eggs. Do not over mix batter.
Add chopped chocolate. Pour in tray. Give the bowl to the kids to lick!
Cook in oven for 25-30mins on 180
It needs to be squidgy in the middle.

Next time, include the sloes (sans stone) from making sloe gin . Tastes terrific.

                  Cheers, Tony.
