I dislike broad beans when small and as for the picking and cooking small pods whole,eughh(if that is the correct spelling)
Give me broad beans mature,but not hard in the pod,cook briefly,skin,and boil again briefly with a bit of mint or savoury,mash up a bit with some butter.Gorgeous!!
