Ive been growing Swedes this year as in a fit of nostalgia, Ive been craving mashed carrot and turnip lately like I had as a kid with my Sunday roast. Turned out brilliant, better then I remember maybe. Opted for olive oil instead of butter this time. Will sequester some in the freezer for Christmas dinner when my mum and dad come.
Anything else you can do with a Turnip/Swede? Had some in Deer Scouse last week too but it was a bit too overpowering.
