We are going to have some tempura veg. Courgettes, aubergines, peppers and onions all from the garden.
My favourite is tempura broccoli but do not have any ready yet and frozen doesn't quite work the same.
I will be dipping them in some homemade sweet chilli sauce, although it is rather hot than sweet.
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Bit of a cheat as it's from my Dad's garden but we had apple sauce on pork chops and apple juice made from his apples. If we get any more I'll be making apple crumble but sadly there wasn't enough for that as well.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

A Conference pear chopped up in my granola, an apple as I wandered round the garden, sliced tomatoes with my veggie curry (not home made )

Last night's evening meal (only just got round to doing the photos).
Black kale, red, yellow and green peppers, garlic and last of the courgettes; all from the lotty.
Wild mushrooms (wood blewits) from local woods
Wood pigeon breast from the garden.
All sat on a bed of pasta with white sauce (bay leaves and winter savoury from the garden).

Dinner: Cooked chicken in the gravy made with onion, kale & chilli ..first time I used kale from my plot. my baby loved the chiken curry..so we are happy

Suffering from a heavy cold so could not face a big meal yesterday so I baked some brown bread and turned these veg into a tasty soup. That's lunch covered for the week.
