Why do need special marmalade oranges as long as they are organic or not waxed surly thats fine, i make loads and loads of the stuff and i just use what is available on the trees, even clementine etc work great.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

I confess I'm using l@kelands version of marmade this year, as I got some before Christmas, buy one get one free - how could I resist? And as an experiment I made some using some cheap (English) honey I bought. Tasted very good.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.

Whatever type of citrus you use its still marmalade (which is just citrus jam when you think about it) but personally I do like the Seville type the best. Make it about every 3 years as I don't use much and that's plenty. Our local delivery service are listing them out of stock this week.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
