please can anyone tell me the best way to cook the above? ive never grown these before and would like to do them justice, thanks in advance for any info !

I cut them in half to clean out the seed cavity, then slice them into wedges, coat in oil, add a sprinkle of salt and mild chilli and roast as you would potatoes. If they have been stored for a long while and the skins have gone hard, you may need to peel them first.
Another way is to cut them in half, deseed and fill with part-cooked rice, grated cheese and chopped onion, finish with some more grated cheese on top. Bake until the flesh is soft.
Thanks for the recipes, mrs Dal cooked one to go with suday lunch using a recipe off the net it is the most bland tasteless thing I have ever grown ! the rest will be going into the compost bin.atb Dal.
