  • Black winter radish

    Round here in the shops at this time of year there are black winter radish. I have grown some and apart from eating them raw in salad am at a bit of a loss as what to do with them. Any ideas?

    Ive never grown them...but there's two out of three that aren't raw in this link.

        I've grown them a few times like HH says they're nice in salads especially coleslaw I've also pickled them .
        Location....East Midlands.

          I roasted mine,they were like a cross between parsnip & roast potato,really nice

            Thanks folks. I have used them on mixed root veg soup and will now try them roasted.
