      I won't be cooking mine. My sprouts have done OK this year but the kalettes look awful. Don't think I'll bother growing them again.

        Personally, I half or quarter them length-ways, melt butter in a frying pan, and saute them in butter and salt until they get blistered brown on the cut side and the kitchen starts to smell of delicious. I do the same for normal brussels sprouts too, and can recommend chucking some sliced blanched chestnuts in the pan at the same time.

            I saute them in butter and garlic. They tasted lovely. I do not like brussels sprout but I do like this kalettes. Think I will grow some more again this year.

              Roast,fried or Boiled ...especially pan Fried with bacon lardons and oriental Leaves etc.
              A great accompaniment for many dishes

                They also go well with Chopped walnuts and /or Almonds and as already mentioned....Chestnuts......its the new 'Fashionable' veg .
