Cripes! that's a hard quiz I think I could answer 2 without the aid of Gurgle and guess another 3. Looking forward to seeing the answers.

I know 1 and 2, should know 3 but can't remember (I'd know it if it was a multiple choice question).
Know 4, 5, 6, 7, think I know about 8 (but could be wrong), educated guess at 9, no idea of 10, yes to 11.
Phew! When you concentrate you know more than you think you know.

edit: Tick 12 too, which I thought was 11, and missed the tulip one. (Looked at the post above mine and thought Lumpy couldn't count, but it's me that's numerically challenged )

I've just checked with goggle- totally wrong about 9, right about 8, was surprised by question 3 - the plant I knew I knew was there, and the weed, but also another that I had no notion could cause skin/sun reaction.
Question 10 I was surprised, 'cos I used to visit this garden often, and it never seemed to have "miles" of hedges. But perhaps that's the sign of a good garden.....
And 12, I knew the king but not his number (didn't realize there had been more than one by that name )
