Oooo.. thanks Hazel, foil will be loud too so might put him off getting on there in the first place... I'm going to hunt out a box today for him for the landing and put an old jumper in there maybe..

Think I'll look at getting a covered litter tray too. I was thinking of the landing as he's always either upstairs or outside, but my landing isn't very bigm and I figure the sleeping place is better on the quiet of the landing rather than the litter tray

Another odour remover is tomato juice.you could use this on paintwork etc. but obviously not on soft furnishings.

oh dear poor puss has problems, I hope you can get him sorted out
We used something like that after one of our cats had been hit by a car. Chilled him a little bit (I think) but seemed to make the other one a bit manically happy, she ran round the house all the time until we got rid of it

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

My litter tray is in the bathroom next to the toilet since that's where she went the first time she came into the house. Good luck Shortie.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

I have two covered litter trays for my two cats, without the flap bit though. Very handy and well used by my two as they are predominantly house cats.

Try sellotape on the banister, sticky side up if the foil doesn't work.. they're not supposed to like the sensation of their paws sticking to it. Hoping it doesn't get full of cat fur first and de-stickying it!
Erm.... I cant think of a signature

Lakeland sell a product called sticky paws, purpose made double-sided product. Bit pricey though.
