      • Scary innit. Fingers crossed. There may be a delay if you have new councillors and they haven't sorted themselves out yet.

When I sent my plans in for my kitchen, I couldn't do it online as they were the oldfashioned blueprint type. Someone burnt the council offices down including my planning application. Nightmare.

        • I hope you've all still got fingers, legs, arms, toes and eyes crossed

I've just brought the first bit of furniture for our new house, that's not built or got planning yet

Allow me to answer your next question of what is it ? I've just brought a kitchen sink not any old kitchen sink, but a big commercial one ( second hand ) for our utility room

Well we'll need somewhere to wash the beer barrals we're not having a bath in the new house

              • Go for it. Can I suggest bath taps, door knocker (there are some beautiful Green Man ones) and a roller blind.

I have a couple of books by Paul Hymers - "The New Home Builder" (2004 edition) and "Converting to an Eco-Friendly Home". If you don't have them, and want them, I'll post them to you.

                      They're on here for 0.01p https://www.amazon.co.uk/Paul-Hymers...rwt_scns_share

I don't have either of those VC. I'd really like the Eco one please. Unfortunately building regs have moved on so much, the 2004 edition might fill my head with ideas that are no longer allowed. Thank you

We've been learning a lot and most of it is as clear as mud! We have to have a renewable energy source to get planning.
And it's recommended that windows are to cover the equivalent of 20% of the floor area of the room!

You can send it with the seed swap if you like. I'm happy to wait ( because it's not long ) I'll still have plenty of time to get inspiration from it before we're allowed to do anything.
