No sorry SP I only speak 2 languages nearly English and not repeatable as for that island, I wonder how many visited with great expectations

We've looked at a few of those on line translation things. Every one comes up with something different .
Another one we found said common sandpipper was bod hag, which I liked because I can spell it and pronounce it .

We like common sandpipper for a house name. As it was the first thing we got good photos of the first time we visited the island. All the other house in the village are named after native animals. Apart from 4 which are named after the daughters of the original estate owner.

It's more someone who knows someone

We'll probably end up with just sandpipper but we'd like common sandpipper as there's a few species

As a birder since 1984 it's always been Sandpiper to me
