I can't seem to be able to stay logged on any more on my mobile. This is quite frustrating at times and is meaning I am using the forum much less as a result which is a shame. Am I missing something or has there been a change in the architecture of the site which has stopped staying logged on for an extended period of time from happening.

If you're inactive for about 2 hours, you're logged out.
If you could provide more information - about the device and system you use and error messages your receive it would help. -
Same for me VC, I am on an iPad and have been logging on every time for donkeys now.
I must admit it makes such a difference to my postings.

That's great thanks VC, it's the inactivity doing it then. This didn't always happen so guessing it was something in the most recent upgrade? I take it there is no way of over riding it to remain logged in?Comment

I've been having this problem for ages.
Again I'm on an iPad. If I go and look at somethings else and then come back (within 2 hours), I have to log in again. I don't actually have a problem with logging in regularly ( probably got used to it. ).
What does annoy me is my name is still in the list of who's on line at the bottom of the forum but I still have to log in?
I assumed it was just my iPad having one of its many hissy fits

Cheers GL am on android using chrome and still logs out after inactivity, remembers pwd, just an irritation having to log back in if I minimise the window n go to do something for a couple of hours.Comment

I have a slightly different problem. I log in and then everything disappears and I have to click on Forum to get back in. It's a bit of a nuisance.Comment

In my non-tech head its a bit like leaving your seat on a park bench. If you walk away for 2 hours, you wouldn't expect your space to be empty and waiting for you when you decide to sit down again.
I know the IT whizzkids will be along and say I'm talking rubbish (as usual) but, it makes sense to me!Comment

Not had a problem with keeping logged in with my iphone I've got the page bookmarked and just click the link, same as I do with my kindle and PC odd how some have the problem and others don't.
Wonder if its something to do with ip providers? btw I'm with Talktalk.Location....East Midlands.Comment

Seem to have found how to get to the "remember me" button that used to be on the front page when logging on. I clicked on reply to thread button without being logged on, it asked me to log on and gave a "remember me" button option. Did it yesterday and still logged on now!Comment

I was about to say that I use iPad and iPhone and they are always logged on which is a gold job as I'm rubbishy at remembering passwordsComment
