Still couldn't offer to pay as it would spoil his reputation, but he was willing to take a virtual drink from anyone who wanted to buy it for him, perhaps VC would be so kind as to....it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

the huge array of 'odd' stuff in the box that was used as the official GR found and waiting to be reclaimed box.

Oh no thought rary, that's Trigger back, perhaps he could get strapped onto VC s broom, and if it hasn't enough magic to lift him he could walk round about the GR with the brush trailing behind him (well it would save some cleaning up)
However Lumpy.......it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

was a bit upset by Rary’s attitude. So, she thought Trigger was not needed except for his tail to sweep up.
Rary approached the daft old panto horse trying to hide a very large tail cutta offa behind his bank. Trigger, sensing that something was very wrong bolted and tried to hide under.....I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

He finished up sitting in the shadow of the tree with the fire light behind him, but rary could see how frightened he was and putting his hand in his pocket, he pulled out a...... big carrot and held it to Trigger who had a sniff at it then a nibble then happily started to eat it, in a very short time rary and Trigger had bonded, and Lumpy....it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

............in a flash of light (caused by the pedal-powered tree lights flickering), Lumpy realised that the answer to her prayers was staring at her........
"That's it, Rary, you and Trigger have bonded so well that you can be the back end of the panto horse/donkey - and, since you never buy a drink, you won't miss not having one while you and Trigger are performing".
Lumpy sat back on the bar stool smiling to herself, with a grin on her face that only an effelump can produce........With a huge self satisfied sigh.....................
