I may have mentioned (last year) that my request for a polytunnel for Christmas has been repeatedly refused by Mrs Balders. Now, I haven't quite reached that pinnacle but as I'm "very difficult to buy for" I've managed to get this for Xmas
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07F6CVR...740111_TE_item

No idea if its any good really - but seems a fair amount of wattage for the wonga!

Maybe next year for the polytunnel...

That looks fantastic. Living off grid, I can't manage anything like that. But I must say I'd love one. Brilliant.

As for the polytunnel, might you be able to ask for contributions if you were to buy it yourself? Or is the thing itself polytunnel non grata?

Bought something similar for myself (Ebay special).

Been making a large box/small cupboard painted white inside so I can put the seedlings in there and get the light to reflect on to them as much as possible - think its a bit OTT as its got a hinged front so I can open it to let natural light in too. I've made it so it can be quickly disassembled for storage - hopefully one more session working on it and it'll be ready to go. Anyway its all recycled or second -hand timber so the total cost is about a fiver for paint, screws etc.
