Happy Christmas everyone.
I'll have a mince pie Nicos while I'm waiting for bob to get up. Also waiting for day light so breeze and skew can have there morning walk, ferrets can have breakfast and there Christmas prezzie.
Then we can start opening ours and doggies can open theres ( as normal dogs have more prezzies than anyone else).

Morning all - Monty the new rescue cat is bothering Honey the old rescue cat - not much seasonal good will being shown one to the other... I've done all I can for them this morning but have now given up and am having a cuppa. The noise of hissing and fighting may and least result in the house moving into activity before the afternoon....

Went to bed last night really early and have only just woken up. So that was a good night's sleep. I'm ready to hit the day running (so to speak). But the ground is frozen solid and it's perishing cold. So might wait a bit. One of the dogs keeps nudging me to suggest an outing, but the other two aren't interested. So I'm blaming them for being here rather than freezing my ears off, hat or no hat.

So, happy whatever day it is for you day. No pressies here, but that's not unusual. I had a cup of tea and a couple of biscuits in bed and that's good enough for me.

And now for some tangentisation (it doesn't seem inappropriate for this thread). I have a UK keyboard set via the computer to a Spanish layout. I touch type but often look at the top row for the numbers and the like. And I'm regularly confused by the brackets. So when I type a colon and what I think is a closing bracket, this is what I get := Reminds me of Lumpy every time.
