Morning !

Late start for us today. Going to have a fruit salad and live yog for breakfast to counteract yesterday's food fest.
Having said that, I may just 'tidy up' the minced pie plate a tad

Absolutely nothing planned for today. Think I may phone family and friends then just hunker down in front of the fire. No cooking today....we have plenty of leftovers to keep us going for at least a couple of day

All good here. Except I feel like I should be singing "Fog in the valley's all mine, all mine, Fog in the valley's all mine", but I have to share it with Mr Snoop and the menagerie. Mind you, there's plenty to go around. It's really thick out there.

Range about to go on. Next round of cooking about to start. But yesterday was very low effort, so I can't complain. And even though there's more to do, there will be plenty to chomp on for next couple of days or so. So work today means lazy times tomorrow.

Another successful quiet Christmas do. Santa brought me some lovely things. I had far to much food, drank lots of fizzy stuff. Had an afternoon nap. Watched the muppets Christmas carol.
Another quiet day planned. will be reading my housebuilers bible (Christmas prezzie). Tonight the whole village gets invited to the big house for Boxing Day drinks.
It's the closest thing I get to a Christmas party.

helloeeeee,VC that was a very top answer,i wonder if more peeps are getting cheesed of with all the extra hype we getting each year,it was much nicer years ago,when family got together,took it turnes each year,and arranged as to who would donate what to bring along,all chip in,and games of some daft concotion or another,the fun has gone out of things in greed off shops profits.

Just as well the festive season doesn't last all year. I am totally stuffed full of food. Managed a walk with the dogs after lunch, but would much rather have had a lie down.

So, bar the leftovers, that's it for a few days. Till New Year. Then Kings' Day on the 6th. I might call it halt after tonight in fact. We still haven't eaten the pud I made for yesterday. The older I get, the less I can eat. So how comes my stomach is bigger? Maybe it's defying the laws of physics.
