Well that wasn't the temp I had expected...lowest the greenhouses got was 6.5°

Lots to to do before I am allowed out today, so better get on!

Mornings!
Back after a few days away at my son's to find the greenhouse got as low as 3C, so good job I left toms and peppers in the house. All the flower seedlings look ok despite the cold

No gardening today for me, 'cos there's very cold North wind Brrr! and grey skies to go with it. Furniture moving for me, so I can start on bedroom redecorating; any day I can't garden, I'll paint for a while. See how that works out......

Good morning all.
A bright start to the with 8 degs.
Brought most of my plants indoors last night.
The few left in the greenhouse and fleeced are fine.
Off to church shortly and then we have been invited out for lunch.

Baltic out there and down to 5 degrees in the greenhouse last night, off to see the steam engine Union of South Africa in a bit, going through our village and up to Aberdeen then back later to Edinburgh

Turned out to be a lovely calm afternoon so we put on our walking boots and set off on a lovely walk around the country lanes and tracks!
Had a lovely time -isn't the countryside so pretty close up?
So many pretty wild flowers.
Time for achy feet to be propped up and a nice brew

evening all. Still a flemmin cold wind up here. . I gave my wolf autospade a "test drive" today. I've had it for years and years. It is super duper .

Our weather turned out much better than the forecast.
We sat out on the patio in my xons garden and had lunch.
A few drinks in the afternoon rounded off the evening.
Home now and all the plants tucked up for the night.

Morning all.

Frost here this morning. Not a very hard one, but enough to do for any plants that I might have put out. Just as well I'm so far behind there's absolutely nothing in the ground yet.

Busy, busy here today. So better get cracking. Kettle's on but that's as far as I've got. Sorry for letting the side down, Nicos, after yesterday's delights.

Another cold night here and we have still got that cold wind this morning - although it looks lovely through the window it's a bit of a shock when you go out. Mollycat agreed, she turned round and came straight back in

Man coming tomorrow to cut down the huge conifer tree that's blacking all the light, so better wrap up warm and clear the path and gateway of pots so he can get in and out easily with his builders bags

Got down to 2.8° overnight, but quite nice in the Sun...unlike Thelma the wind has abated here. Got loads to do over the plots, so no prizes for guessing where I shall be

Morning we had a warm 6c last night in the GH its not much more than that now though, looks like being a dull dry day here. Good for gardening though
