  • Morning it was cold overnight only 5.4c in my GH but now the suns out and it looks like being a good day.

GG we had hailstorm about a month a go and it left behind bashed plants and 3 inch of ice covering the whole garden some of my mints haven't recovered yet.

    • Morning, FF. Morning, everyone.

Bright skies, still a bit breezy, clouds scudding overhead indicate very windy higher up.

Not much news today. Off for a brief outing to see a friend this afternoon. Haven't seen her in months! Before that, mucho worko. Mr Snoop says he'll do a bit more fencing. Then I can get plants in.

The oldest of our chickens is going downhill all of a sudden... Not quite sure how old she is. Seven seems about right. The others are behaving normally.

OK, on with the day. Have a good one, everyone.

      • Mornings!
Quite cool last night, pulled the quilt back up again outside thermometer said low of 6C - 14C now, odd patches of sun but mostly grey, but still no rain

Off up to feed my daughter's cat again in a bit. Getting up the hill is a bit of a push, but it's easy enough coming back down Then domestics for me....

        • Morning all. Weak sun here today, forecast reckons it will be dry today but rain from tomorrow onwards so I'm going to try to get some more done in the garden today. I've got a load of pots I need to clean and put away but it's a rubbish job and tbh I've no idea where I'm going to put them. They are an eyesore right now though so I really need to deal with them.

          Anyway, happy day to all.

          • Good morning all.
A dull start to the day here and showers rain.
Lots of rain forecast for later so it may be a day of domestics, hopefully not.
Off to have my nails done this morning which doesn't happen very often.
            Catch you all later.

Thelma, wish I could send you some buckets of water, they are all overflowing.

I have just been stung by a bee.
I was folding up old netting when I felt a pain in my finger.
Bumble bee was stuck to my finger.
Bloody painful, that's a first for me.

I once got stung by a bumbler in the arm pit so I can sympathise.

                          • Bright here today. Hoping to get out and about into the garden at some stage today. Plenty of paid work to do still. Getting through it, though. So that's good news.

                            Have a good day everyone.
