Hazy cloud here, so not too bright. Would love to be out gardening, but it's a day of paid work madness. This is definitely the last time I'm doing this! Remind me next time it happens.

Was at a funeral yesterday, second in two weeks. It’s not been a good year so far, can’t get much worse so I guess the only way is up...right?

Morning all, we have sun but we also have cloud approaching so it'll be interesting to see who wins.

I was up and at 'em at 6.30 this morning (unheard of for me), got 2 wash loads done and the living room carpet cleaned. Yup, mutt had been sick! Thank goodness for carpet cleaning machines, I couldn't live without mine!!

Not sure what the rest of the day holds, depends on the weather I suppose.

Still raining here Flo but like you say the garden does need it, think its the first real downpour we've had in ages.

Weather forecast is decent for tomorrow so looking forward to trying out some new fishing flies I have just purchsed on my favoured still water Brown trout .

I am like a cat on a hot tin roof or a kid on Christmas Eve the evening before each fishing trip.

Cloudy here. And quite chilly. Forecast was for falls in temperature of up to 12 ºC lower than yesterday. Possibility of rain, but volume expected to be 1 mm/litre per square metre. So not very useful.

Paid work calls today. But trying to avoid any on Thursday and Friday in preparation for the onslaught of visitors. There will be 13 of us for three days. No idea what we're going to eat. Mr Snoop thinks buffets consisting of crisps and dips will do. That will be the seven-year-old in him speaking. He's right in some respects. We'll have no oven and nobody is going to want to wash up for 13 three times a day. If anyone has any suggestions, all ideas welcomed.

Well, the rain has stopped here too, so I hope to do a bit more weeding.
I noticed we have loads of black fly on our rhubarb. Not good.

Might go for a cycle ride after, but first want to make a large moussaka to freeze in portions. No take-away within half an hour, so it's good to have something in the freezer ready after a hard day working in the garden.
