Afternoon All. I had to laugh this morning, lovely sun outside with a lit up road warning sign telling of torrential rain tomorrow. I wonder if Scotland is actually the leading nation for such changeable weather.

Went to Screwfix this morning to pick up some sealant and ended up in B&Q spending money I really didn't have to spend, on plants. It's almost like someone on a diet seeing trays and trays of glorious cream buns etc. I am weak.I'm also going to be a bit thinner next week through lack of a food shopping budget!

What a shame burnie, dry biscuits aren't exactly the stuff of dreams, hope things settle soon and you know exactly what you can eat and what you still need to avoid.

Managed to spend the princely sum of 1€ at the Vide Grenier.
Really chuffed cos it was a string of Xmas red beads. Going to put them on/near(?????) my currant bushes in the hope that the magpies and wood pigeons will leave the real fruit alone!
Any advice on that please?

Just had a BBQ and now waaay too hot to think about gardening. Maybe later on

Evening all!
It's been a busy weekend, with friend's daughter getting married, with her party in the garden along the terrace, the weather was very kind Happy is the bride that the sun shines on! So fingers crossed for the happy couple.
Today has been grey hot and very humid - it certainly feels like a storm brewing. That's what's in our forecast from midnight, anyway. At least I got the lawn cut while it was dry

Nothing garden related done today.
Family called in the early afternoon.
Lashing rain since early evening and no sign of it stopping.
Very depressing for this time of the year.
God help the crops.
