    • Hello, I've got lap-top problems, which daughter can't fix, so If I go AWOL then you know what's happened! It keeps black screening and turning itself off and then doesn't want to restart at all. Grrr

Trying to limp on with this for a while, 'til I get a replacement.

        • Now I mostly have a shower. Sometimes I have bath. Today I went for a shower, I have a non-slip mat in the bath that is also designed to clean my feet. So, I went for the shower this morning and there was a strange grey thing in (definitely in) the mat. A slug. Really! How the hell did it get there and why? It has been ousted to the garden but I'm still intrigued as to how it got there.

          • Thanks for the big smile Nicos,
Info for you and Jay, had to take my granddaughter to her work this morning and when I returned there was huge pile of ironing to be done so got the ironing board out and the iron which I switched on then went out to the back garden, and when I came back in my first thought was get the ironing done but magically it was gone, and not just that my lunch was ready, so possibly you should have a few words with your OH,s

Apologies for delay in replying to this Rary. I've just seen it.

Absolutely must be the French variety. They work because of their intense smell

                • Good evening, was out early to take my GD to work then went to collect some seaweed, when back home I did a bit of housework then went out to do some work in the garden where I washed some of the seaweed and added it to a water drum which I will start using in a couple of weeks to feed the plants, it was a bit blustery today and while I was having my lunch one of my lilies was broken by the wind so I had to go out and stake all the lilies, after tea when it was a bit calmer I decided as I had some trailing petunias left to pot them up and tie them onto a rowen tree in the garden, (VC if you come to this area don't land on my back grass as you would have to walk past the rowan) I will post a photo if they grow as I hope. Well I will wish you all a good night

                        • Morning all. Going to be a long day today - not enough sleep and Mr Snoop has some kind of electrical tool that requires the generator on as well right outside the door. Too noisy to work, too noisy to nap, too hot to garden. Already looking forward to bedtime!

Other than that, all good here. Didn't have to tackle any oversized insects today, which is a relief. Just a bit of bindweed, but even that's in retreat. Have I mentioned how much I like my hori-hori?

Better get on with the day, I guess. Have a good one, everyone.

When I read you post AP I had to go back to the original one from VC as I had missed it, and had to know what it was in reference to, as I had a feeling that it was a peck at me, (why I don't know) pleas try not to encourage her, and I see from an other post from VC that we shouldn't be telling people to go and sit on the norty step,VC shouldn't be sent to sit on it, she should be chained to it

More sad news last night...when is it going to end?!!!
Think I need that hori-hori Snoop to get rid of this bad luck around here!!
Anyhoo enjoy your day whatever you are doing and think of me as I trail round my favourite place, maybe we could go on a no food diet for a while or I may look into home delivery.
