It's been a lovely sunny day and not too hot, so got quite a lot done on the plot.
Now just to water the greenhouses before I put my feet up.

What are your thoughts about this sportdog shock collar, will it be a good product in correcting the excessive barking behavior of my beagle?

^You're unlikely to find much support for such a device on this forum. Regardless of pet welfare views, they're banned in England and steps have been taken to prevent their use in Wales and Scotland. See: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-45320038

And if you're not in the above-mentioned countries, I know someone who used one and regretted it afterwards, as it changed the dog's character and not for the better.

Right, now the above is out the way, on to other news.

Temperatures down again a little bit. Quite cool last night, which really makes a difference. Plants are doing spectacularly well. Watered the squash last night and they were visibly bigger than they had been the night before. Mr Snoop gave them a right good watering the other day (when we brought water up from the well) and they've obviously appreciated it. Only things looking miserable are the French beans.

Better get on with work. Plenty of deadlines to hit today and another big one looming tomorrow.

Water spray. Buy a spray bottle (or use a cleaned one that held some domestic product), fill with water and spray dog in the face when barking unnecessarily. It's kind, doesn't change their personality and doesn't stop them barking when you actually need them to. My son did this to his lab who had bad habits from not being disciplined adequately by his ex. Worked on my 2 little 7yr old pooches too.
