Afternoon all.
Sympathising with Rary a wee bit today as I'm also getting it in the neck for not throwing stuff out which I know will have a use in future. Case in point being the leftover ready mix plaster from when we did the house up before moving in. Been using it this last couple of days. I'd tell her "I told you so" but maybe better not.
Anyway, very frosty first thing which for me today unusually was after 8.00am. It must have rained before the frost came down because the cars were solid with ice.
Had planned to go to the plot but not on for that when it's frosty. Patch in porch given a second skim of plaster. Hopefully that will be it ready for paint but the plaster shrinks as it dries so it may need another coating.
Weather forecast not brilliant but probably wrong anyway. I mean last night's frost wasn't forecast.

À Day of packing, tidying up a bit and getting ready for our action packed trip to the uk in the morning.
Getting very excited
I have a confession to make...I still need to plant out the daffodil bulbs we bought last October

Well, at least you bought them, Nicos. I only ever think about it.
Well, already feeling quite a bit better after change in medication yesterday, so think I'll live! Good stuff. So now redoubling my efforts to get the veg patches sorted, seeing as it'll be worth it.
Not much news. Mr Snoop out getting his car fixed for its MOT. Fingers crossed. Me, I'm still waiting for the rest of the firewood delivery. Amazing how much you can get through baking bread (yesterday's loaf definitely worth it!). Diet seems to have stalled (wonder why).
Have a good day, everyone.Last edited by Snoop Puss; 15-01-2019, 09:03 AM.

Good morning all.
A bit of a dull start.
Looking after grandson today and then having his parents for dinner.
Dont think I sill get any chance to get in the garden today.
Have a good day all.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Morning, all. Perishing cold again here. Just been looking at some weather charts for the days ahead, and we're due to be covered in blue. But as the Baltic is too, I think it's blue for cold not blue skies. Snow forecast at the weekend and next week.
We had our second wood delivery yesterday. Most of the wood for the bedroom wood burner is very green. Mr Snoop says that's OK because it'll burn slowly and keep going overnight. Me, I'm not so sure.
So, today, work calls. And yet more bread. Could be worse. Fingers crossed Mr Snoop does the washing-up today.
Have a good trip, Nicos. And have a great day, everyone.
