Seven hours of ironing, Nicos?!! I haven't done that much in my entire life, let alone in one day.

Blimey, me neither! Sounds like masochism to me.....

Not a bad night, so I've got some energy this morning - I'm going to have to look like an idiot to the neighbours (again!) cos the greenhouses need watering, whether it's raining or not haha.

Deffo a chilly start to the day here too....almost could have done with the heating on for an hour first thing!
Seeing the fallen cherry leaves on the lawn, the chilly start, and the first bowl of blackberries in the fridge, it's certainly beginning to feel Autumn is near enough as here.

Need to get to the shops today for a few basics...

Good afternoon all,so pleased it has cooled off some,only needed my cardy the odd time,toms are really struggling to try and ripen,others things are laggin behind still,however the carrotts are great at home,got some nice cosse violett in freezer,and some brasiccas are coming along,tried a few salad spuds from the feezer,they good,need more,so hope to get some more up and in,we just have to be gratefull for what we have got growing & laying,so satisfying you grew and cooked it,tonight will revolve around,roast veg on a bed of onions,hope the water is back on in time,this is the second time in last week,work going on round the corner,got enough for 1 drink each in the kettle,glad i got enough milk for extra fluid,Bgood2yrselves.

Afternoon, we've been out walking it's been going from windy rainy or sunny I've had my jacket of and on more times. Back home done weeding and harvesting and we're back to sunshine.

Afternoon/evening all. Been a really variable day. Was lovely first thing and I filled the whirlie with washing but alas, as it was getting on for dry the heavens opened. Quick scramble and got the clothes down before they got wet wet. Half an hour later it was lovely again so out the clothes went again but yes you guessed it, as I put the last garment on the line it started spitting again so off everything came again and I gave up. The rest of the day has been showery including hailstones a few minutes ago. Ah well, variety is the spice etc.

water still off,friend came with 4 bottles for us,how nice and thoughtfull was that,apparently,there is a major burst mains,bet the traffic will be chaos,it will also affect the large shopping area,not just no water,but trafic will not get to it,the burst is on a large island and will have to be closed off,we did have a bit of water not long ago,no pressure at all,now off again,FF that bed size will soon shrink as you get used to it,we have two 3fts pushed together,so much better,when 1 moves the other is not distubed,plus your body is centred in your half,no rolling about,wish we done it yeas ago,another thing is,it's easier to handle 2 than 1 large one,we just got the big sheet over them both,they do not separate either,the best of both worlds,wishing you both a good nights rest,AP hope you got the washing sorted after playing hokey kokey with it,no fun ay,another text from 7 trent,still on going,no water bowsers or asked if peeps need any help,just left us all to it anyhow sweet dreams to you all.
