Nice sunny morning here
Crawled back home last night at 2am again
Thank goodness I was the designated driver!
We all sat outside, wrapped in blankets around a huuuge firepit looking at the stars and watching moonrise. Really lovely. I stink of bonfire now!

Diet officlly back on track today....

A few domestics to finish then gardening.

Mornings!

My quilt got rained on once, during a brief shower, but did dry during the afternoon
Although it feels cool this morning, the sun is up, so hopefully plot time later. Some more onions to bring home to dry, plus hopefully I'll actually be able to get a fork in the soil after the rain.

Morning all, the sun has finally made it out. Makes you feel so much happier doesn’t it?
Back to work this afternoon, it’s the only place I don’t eat every five minutes
So, Nicos back on diet for me. The fish and chip soir�e has been cancelled in favour of the curry house

Good afternoon its been showery all day today and some of the quite heavy, I tried making some beetroot soup this morning I used some chicken stock that I had in the freezer which I think was a mistake, I enjoyed it but OH wasn't to happy with it though I think it was more the colour that put her off, right the rain's off so I'm for out to the garden fot a bit, catch you later

Good evening all.
Showers afternoon here as well but nice and sunny in between.
We decided to tidy OH shed.
Emptied everything out of our old freezer which was in the shed.
Carried it up the garden and cleaned and defrosted in the conservatory.
Then carried it upstairs and installed it in the small room which is the computer room.
All prepacked now and up and running.
Went to our local electrical store and bought a new fridge freezer for the kitchen.
It will be delivered tomorrow, so more rearranging stuff.
We have been looking at fridges for the last year.
It took our daughter in law to buy a new one to give us the nudge we needed.
Dinner cooking now so having a relaxing evening.

Evening all, I spent the first couple of hours today helping a local group prepare to launch a bid to create a new allotment site. Nice people and I hope it goes well for them .

Had lunch out and after I got home yesterdays washing went back out on the line. I got a really good blow for a couple of hours and I got it in dry .

It's raining again now though. Never ending innit !

Fingers crossed AP that the new site gets the go ahead....there can never be enough sites!!
A new fridge/freezer Bramble?... Yey! What did you finally decide on?
(That reminds me...I need to do some freezer defrosting)

More gardening for me today...managed to get loads of weeds out of the gravel driveway yesterday and get some cutting back done. Very rewarding to look at

Sunny morning.
No walking for me as I had a call earlier to say the fridge delivery is on it's way.
Everything out of the old one all packed in chill bags.
Nicos, we decided on a Samsung ond.
My daughter in law bought one about a month ago.
She is very pleased with it so we decided on that.
My sister has bought a Zanussi and she is delighted with that ad well,
I will give you an update on it.
I know we both posted ages ago about getting a new one.

Good day peeps,had to put the heating on a bit again,feels a bit automnul,the cosse violet look that way to,as for toms,the only table ones that seem to be just ripening are the yellow delight,have lots of canning ones outside,growing lovely,but green,however,we have been enjoying beeroots,carrots,kale, cabbage,onions,the odd cue,beans,very limited courgetts,plus the eggs,some nice combinations have been had,with the help of cheese and herbs,hoping we get the nice weather propised over the weekend,then i can get some spuds up for the freezer,waste not,want not,also hoping for MR wheels to arrive very shortly,then i WILL have to walk with him,at least it will go no faster than 4mph,and carry a bit of shopping,have a good afternoon and Bgood2yrselves.

Afternoon, all. Mizzle and then a bit of proper rain this morning. Amazing. One of the dogs is so unused to the sound of rain he was barking at it. Anyway, still very cloudy and now quite cool. More rain would be useful, but we've already had the grand sum of 5 mm/litres per square metre and were only forecast 3, so I shouldn't complain.

Time for an afternoon nap, methinks. Catch you later. Meanwhile, have a good one.

Afternoon all!
It's a lovely day, so I've been out in the garden since 9 o'clock only stopped for a couple of coffee breaks
Haven't made much of a dent in the to do list, but I enjoyed doing what I did so that's fine! and today's washing is dry woo hoo!

Some cheese, tomatoes and crackers for now, but wondering what to do for tea, still got piles of veg in the fridge

Evening all, harvested some more onions this afternoon and then got the hoe going in the bed they were removed from. I just cannot believe the volume of weeds that have grown this last couple of weeks. My trusty hoe was more than a match for them though
