Early night last night and slept like a log. Cup of frothy coffee in bed! What a luxury. Great start to the day. Though it was a bit early and I am half asleep already.
Bright here, but storms forecast again for elsewhere in Spain. We should get some rain on Saturday. Will be interesting to see what happens. Now all our earthworks are done, we could end up surrounded by a mud swamp. Fingers crossed it all works out well.
Busyish day ahead. Would help if I hadn't spent the last two days watching a digger at work!
Catch you all later. Have a good one meanwhile.

Good afternoon a dry day today most unusual as that 3 in a row, was busy yesterday as OH had been hinting about tidying up the room upstairs ( she says what we(she) don't need and then I am supposed to remove it) and foolishly I said I was thinking of power washing the driveway, you don't tell my OH what you were thinking of doing she takes that as I am saying "I am going to do" so I managed to get 2 thirds of it done and now have a bit to finish so will hold that in reserve for an other "I was just thinking" day. Need to go as I am going to pick up the other 2 grandsons just now, catch you laterit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Evening all, we too have had sun almost all day, so took advantage once the fog lifted and two of the apples have been felled and the wood and leaves are now on the village bonfire wood pile, one more to fell and then the roots to remove and the wildlife pond will now be going in here, the old rabbit proofed veg patch will have two new apple trees next spring. Then went on another 10 mile bike ride, trying to get fit as I still have a Monroe mountain to climb before winter sets in.

Sunny day. Managed to get post holes dug for my wrought iron fence in the morning.I used my metal detector to make sure I missed the lead water pipes below ground.
I spent afternoon painting both sides of my gate and fence with black Hammerite metal paint. (What a boring job)
After walking the dogs, I set to and made a nice supper with vegetables from the plot.
Night night. My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

Just had a look out the window and there is quite a thick fog outside, right need to get off to bed as OH wants to buy me lunch in the Clyde valley tomorrow/today, though to be truthful she doesn't know that yet. Goodnightit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
