  • Enjoyable morning planting up large pots of bulbs with Polyanthus.

Not so enjoyable afternoon, stripping off paper, filling walls and painting with emulsion.

Tomorrow once its dried I have the ominous task of drilling wall and fixing huge mirror in position.

          • Mornings, said quietly in case you're all having a nice lie in
A dry night woohoo! so the path is no longer flooded I'm just off on a quick trip to the plot to get some fresh veggies and to stretch my legs while it's dry, as the forecast for later is a bit iffy.

            Laters...

                    • Good night all.
                      What a busy day.
Looking after my grandson for most of the day.
Daughter and her kids came in for a late lunch .
Then got the best news, my son won the barber of the year for colour and cutting.
He has done all this before and retired.
Couldn't resist another try, and won first prize again.
                      What a roller coaster weekend.

                        • Mornings!
It's grey and raining and guess what? the path's flooded again. The garden's are sodden, so there's nowhere for the water to drain-off to, if it carries on next step is flooded gardens. I always wondered why the path in my garden was higher than the footpath, I may find out the wisdom behind that soon.... So glad I had a couple of hours on the plot yesterday, putting the last of the canes in the shed and clearing another bed for winter.

Must tackle the ironing pile today

                          Have a good'un
