Quite bright looking outside, but a nice frost overnight
Hopefully this will start killing a few bugs and stopping my plants thinking it’s spring
Day off today, still the same housework to do

Frosty here again, I'll have to give the birds some fresh water and more food, poor things

When the pavements have cleared I must go and pick up my prescriptions, don't fancy the walk up the hill but needs must..

Have a good'un and stay safe if it's slippy.

Good morning all,dull and grey just now,supposed to pick up later,manged to get said plants in yesterday,flower bucket over,toped of with a brick,did the same with a dahlia from last year,see if that keeps it safer,very satisfying,the border side in the shade,was frozen,put the hand fork in,the weed came out roots and all,with a half inch platform of frozen soil,aprox 5in across,keep safe all,thinking of those that need a hugg just now,Bgood2yrselves,it does wonders.

Morning, another frosty start, but only -3 today, been to collect a parcel that I missed yesterday, new camera lens, just like Christmas this morning, will I ever grow up...…………………..probably not, off out to test it yahooooooo.

Morning all. Up early this morning as I had a Doctors appointment. Got the all clear thankfully. Called at Poundland on way home for some milk and came out with a Deutzia and Philadelphus plant.
I don't think I have ever spent just a pound in Poundland.
I also manged to get five X 8 foot lengths of treated board for edging of my ramp replacement of steps at front of house for £4 a length, which I was pleased with.


Its amazing what you can get into a Corsa with the seats down.

Good evening its been a funny day today, started of with black ice, and felt very cold, but now feeling quite mild though I think it is forecasted to go to - 3 overnight, no matter I will be tucked up in bed

Evening all, day started off with frost again. Getting to be monotonous. Warmed up slightly though. I'll rephrase that, it wasn't quite so cold later although it was still jolly chilly. Better half got her car back with the mirror which was ripped of and stolen by vandals at the year end replaced. A couple of quid off £400. Major growwwwlllls.

A dull grey start to the day but its 9 degs and dry.
Off out to another funeral this morning.
Hopefully that will be the last for a while as they usually come in threes and I have had three in the last two weeks.

Weather! I don't know what's worse tbh; the week or so of frosty mornings we've had or waking up to milder temperature, but persisting it down

I'm s'posed to be shopping today - I'll wait a bit to see if it eases off.

Right sleep in which was very much needed!

Cold n damp here today, but no snow "Thank Gawd"

Youngest Daugher with child (Oscar) due in August I have dropped off in town to finish off his shopping list, now mainly the toiletries all else is got!

Back home, and today wil be mainly gathering my thoughts, getting the rest of the propagating gear out of "Dry Dock" Oh! Oh! And potting on the chillies that have popped!

Off next week too!

And it can't come fast enough!

Morning all. Its a bit 'claggy' underfoot. I intend putting in the retainers for my new path. Every time I walk over the bare earth I become one inch taller.

Will try and find some time this morning to visit the allotment with kitchen waste for the compost bin and a bucket full of woodash for the soil.
