Evening all, fab sunset out there, will be some happy shepherds tonight lol. Sunny day with temps up to 9 degrees, but with a clear sky we might get a cold one tonight again. Planted some Hyacinths' in pots a while back and they look like they will flower in time for later this month. They then go out in the garden in the spring, some have been coming up for a decade or more, I do like the scent of them.

Good evening all.
It was a beautiful sunny day here but very cold.
I got a very good result from the eye specialist however I must continue the treatment.
Hope you all have a good night.

Evening all, as Bramble has already said it was a nice pleasant day in the Emerald Isle, but bloody cold. -1.5 this morning where I live on the bog, I work in Naas which is about 10km (or 6 miles for my UK friends) and when I got to the office it as +2’C amazing difference. Same getting home this evening it was 9’C leaving Naas and 7’C when I got home.
Good evening dark and cloudy so hopefully no frost tonight, once we came home earlier today I had the 2 older grandsons to watch after school the younger one is 12 years old and coming home at the back of 4 when the roads are busy is a bit of a worry. As CtM said bramble I hope it's nothing serious with the eyes, my OHs eye is beginning to be a it 9f a problem, she 8s now picking up things that need to be done, and guess who needs to do them

Not really sure what was going on yesterday.. Fever, dizziness, lethargy, 39.5c temp, 120bpm heart.. confused...
Hibernated for nearly 24hrs, only being woken by an owl outside our bedroom window.. woke up this morning 99.9% better!
Very odd..
I will have a whisky later, at my new job i told a colleague that i dont like whisky, he convinced me that i simply had not found the one i liked.. I've tried a few over the last 6 months, my favourite so far being a supermarket finest speyside, 25.. although I've only tried a few!
My clubs seeds turned up today, so that's kept me busy.. seeds everywhere!!
Back to work tomorrow!

Morning all. Off to try to open a new bank account today. The two banks accounts we have are with banks which are 40 miles from where we live. We have two other banks 2 miles away so I intend opening an account with one of these.
Frost seems to have abated a bit so hopefully I won't slip and fall over.
The way banks are carrying on, we'll soon have no banks left . Hope yours stay open
Thanks for the kind comments.
I have glaucoma and one of my eyes is particularly bad as it wasnt noticed until the damage was done.
A mixture of different drops have been tried over the last few years.
The last lot have brought the pressure down considerably so it looks like I am on the right track.
Having said that, there is no cure so constant tests, and the right mixture of medication is the only way to slow it down.

Evening all, been a lovely day up here today. Started of parky but not frosty and warmed up a bit so I was able to work comfortably in the garden.. I managed to get the dahlias lifted which I would have done earlier but the weather has been the pits of late.
I also potted on my show pot leeks so making progress on that front is good
