Morning all, it’s a pleasant morning in Kildare no frost for a change we had a very mild night. I’d say it’s about 7’C out there.

It's bucketing out there. Don't much fancy going out but we've got visitors coming and today is the best day to go shopping. Mr Snoop has volunteered to go on his own, but we'll get it done quicker if we both go. Got a bit of work to get through first. And then it's no more work pretty much till Monday. Unbelievable, eh? Mr Snoop certainly can't believe it. And I do have a few urgent bills to write... But that's it.

Glad the eye news was positive, Bramble.

All the banks in our town have closed its about 6 mile to the nearest not a long way still inconvenient if you don't drive.

Temp is hovering around -1° and foggy.

Got a 100mtrs of 25 x 150 being delivered today to replace some of the edged beds, current timber lasted 6 years so not complaining.

Not sure if I should be pleased with myself for cracking on, or ashamed for not having got around to doing it sooner, but I've finally unpacked everything from our trip to the uk. Yup...we got back 9 days ago!

Just back from a visit to Dracula for my regular blood tests It's cold and still very slippy on pavements that haven't had the sun on them, but yes - we have actual sunshine again
I'm waiting in for a delivery, so just pottering today...

Still a little bit poorly, very nice text from my boss telling me to stay away for another day!

Waiting for a delivery for the other half, watching awful daytime TV..

Re. Banks.. we had four banks here, now all gone. The nearest is around 10 miles.

That being said we do have a van that comes a couple times a week, and you can do nearly all your banking at the post office.

I accept its tricky for businesses, but it's just the way retail banking has gone. I cant remember the last time I visited a bank.. even pay cheques in on my phone these days.

Just watched my poor car being carted off on a trailer to the local garage.
It's going to be something embarrassing like spark plugs, or more likely something stupidly expensive eh?

Good afternoon all,indeed it was a lovely sunset here,furry friend gone home,will still see him on visits,new fairy starts tommorrow,poor car Nicos,mine went in for a diagnostic,all sorted now,just a dodgy connection,all cleaned,and a reset of a dash board icon,so now the heat will come to the screen in event of frost ext,if it goes again,will need new part,total cost £50.40 so all good,still not sorted out them seeds,they sat on my den table.
BIG BIG moan,what the hell use are ASServices for mental health,you ask for help and they send you round in bloody circles,son still got no money or help since end of Sept,only from us and a friend,they lead to believe they on your side and they not,DWP tolled him this morning by phone,no money until he has been into them for an asseccement in apox 4 weeks,in other words next year,even DR sick notes do not count,and the body that came to fill in the form for him,seen not only his injuries,ut all the paperwork from the hospital,and pics he took of the cut before it was stapled,he has to see the surgeon again tomoz,all this sets him off agian, i have to listen and try calm him,The ASS supposed to be contacting the GP for medical info,the first 1 has been replaced with another 1,and nothing heard of yet,agin,he is as i type on the pgne to them again to ask what is going on,govenment,if you can help others,you should be able help your own,sorry but am so anoyed,right of me saop box,and find a corner to go and SCREAM,remember,Bgood2yrselves.

That's bad news LD, it's like 1 hand don't know what the other one's doing My daughter is disabled (physically) but has the same kind of problems every time she is up for reassessment - they say there's nothing wrong then she has to go through hoops to prove she has something that is never going to get better, only worse... *sigh*
