Morning all.

All drizzly here after yesterday's proper rainfall. Ground boggy underfoot. So that puts paid to gardening activities this weekend.

Busy day today. A few bills to write, then tidying up and getting food ready for visitors arriving tomorrow. Just been discussing logistics with Mr Snoop. He thinks it sounds like too much work. I haven't asked him his options, but I reckon they'd be frozen pizzas for all ten of us for three days and paper plates! Anyway, doubtless people will muck in.

Mornings!

Another cold and frosty one, but no sun to make it look pretty. Mollycat decided it wasn't worth venturing out and is back under the duvet - can't say I blame her.
I made lots of fondant cake decorations yesterday, left to dry overnight on the worktops, so need to put those away before I can do anything else in the kitchen. Best get a shift on.. sewing on the list for later.

Just fitted a new seal to the woodburner this morning. OH wasn't happy we had to wait 20 mins for the glue to set before lighting it.: She is now sitting huddled around it and to me the place is like an oven cos she has had the heating on in the mean time.

Dogs to walk next then its up into the attic to get the Christmas tree and decorations.

As my old boss used to say,have a goood day and and don't let the B*******s get you down!

Just had a nice bit of fresh air. Been cutting back the plants in the pots on the patio, then cleaning the outside of the windows.
That's always the first sign we're nearly ready for the decorations to go up

Afternoon all. Just bamboozled myself by mis-spelling afternoon. My eyes wouldn't accept what I'd typed. Hey ho, Imust just be being difficult today. Anyway, quite mild again which is good. It was forecast for heavy rain but that hasn't arrived yet although it probably will. Still, another day through December without snow cannot be bad can it?

Crikey, its blowing a hooligan out there. Just had the dog out and he wouldn't have a poo because he couldn't stay on his feet.

Just sent text to daughter to tell her to take care on her drive home from work.
