The last time I had linguine at home I chopped it up bit like you would for a small child its so much easier to handle, just don't tell anyone

      • ^Practising. That's a good excuse!

Chilly and cloudy here this morning. Quite a change from yesterday. But a few more garden clearing jobs to do this morning. With any luck, the exercise will keep me warm.

Better get on with it. Catch you later. Meanwhile, have a great day, everyone.

                • Nice sunny day here, without wind and seems a bit milder. Spent this morning wheelbarrowing logs from my distant log store to my 'by the door' log store. Getting a large load delivered on Wednesday so making sure I have enough until then. Thankfully I have.

                    • Started off a bit cold and grey. The sun has appeared and the back door is open. The dogs are reacquainting themselves with the neighbours cats and dogs. I need to get rid of a lot of unwanted plants (otherwise known as weeds) and i’m afraid it will have to be weed killer. The weather forecast is threatening rain so it will have to wait until later on in the week. I think i’ll have a cooking afternoon instead.

                          • good evening didnt manage on yesterday due to circumstances beyond my control, (our daughter wasn't back home till after five so by the time we were back home and had made the tea it was a bit late and when i sat down to relax I fell asleep had been over at the coast yesterday but the shore was clear of seaweed which happens some time with high winds it brings a lot in but at times it takes it back out
but after church today decided to get some work done on my raised beds, just ready to go out to the back garden when it started raining, but fortunately it didn't last so managed out and have one bed completed, have lined the base with weed suppressant membrane lined the wood with poly then put several layers of cardboard down before emptying a recycle bin full of compost into it, had started forking it in but shoulders and elbows got a bit sore so decided to upend it and now my knees are sore as well, I then topped it up with five or six inches of soil, I now expect the level to drop quite a bit so will collect some mole hills over the next few weeks and top it up, one other point I must mention, I was working till 1720hrs. and it was still daylight, so that a good thing
