Afternoon, no sign of the sun since it peeped over the horizon just about 7 then vanished in the fog and clouds, least it's not frosty.

Good day, had heavy rain this morning but nice and dry now, after church we went out with the family for a meal which was most enjoyable now for out to try and work it off (I knew I shouldn't have had that dessert) as I want to top up one of the raised beds, and thinking of putting a warming cable into the raised bed in the greenhouse, I have a spare cable and don't see the sense in leaving it in its box, and hopefully it will give me a good start with my tomatoes and peppers, AP I have caught two mice in the greenhouse last week but the traps have been sitting set for the past two days and not touched, so hope there are no more to catch, we'll I am going out to the greenhouse now for a time, so catch you later

Evening all, super spring day and I had the door of the unheated greenhouse open all the time. A good first step to hardening off. Did a wee bit of restaking my big onions and some potting on of some for my little brother. No so little mind.

Weather permitting, and at the moment it's looking good, it will be another session at the plot tomorrow

Was out in the garden for a wee while and emptied a few tubs into my raised beds also two boxes of Strawberries transferred into one of them, five of the tubs are 24inch diameter and three of these I will give to my son I will keep a couple for myself for growing potatoes, sadly I feel I need to cut back on work as I am beginning to suffer a bit of pain in my knees when I have been doing any lifting, so even though I am a young man the body seems to think different (had to get that in before a certain chooky burdie says anything) AP should have added I have one of those electronic scares in the greenhouse and it seems to work. Well enjoy your week, keep safe and happy remember a smile can help and it costs nothing. Goodnight

Just been listening to the 7am bells...a couple of owls and the muffled crow of our cockerel Flokki (they are safely locked away from the foxes at night)
What a lovely start to the day!
Still too early for dawn chorus, but that too us happening earlier isn't it!

Not sure what today might bring...hopefully more gardening!

Know the feeling rary (back pain)... little and often and varying the job in hand works for me.
Kettle's on...help yourselves...toast this morning with my Bramble jelly.
