And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

The lawn in parts is now at least 8" high...but sopping wet...far too wet to try and cut.
It's always a problem in the spring...lush cow grass, too wet to try and cut... blocks the lawn mower even on the highest cut...looks like I'll be cutting it again with the handmower tipped back at 45degrees again.
Part of my fitness training again eh????

Afternoon all, day went totally different. Got a SOS call from my boss this morning at 10 am, no one coming in to help her this morning.
Yes, I got there at 10.15 and had a flipping busy day.
Sitt8ng here with a nice mug of hot chocolate and have nabbed a lovely hot cross bun with butter on.
Bang goes the diet, but I’m bushed.
Have a good evening folks and fingers crossed for tomorrow’s weather
Good evening, started off dry and mild but couldn't get into the garden as I had to take the car up to East Kilbride for assessment, then on the way home got held up for an hour and a half due to an accident on the road, at least I got home, don't know about the people involved in the accident, I hope they are all ok, once past the holdup we went into a GC where I let OH buy me a coffee, and I bought some onion sets which I will plant in some pots for some salad onions, might try the greenhouse for a wee while later ad there is nothing worth watching on TV enjoy your evening
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Evening all, another lovely day here. Tried to get my rotavator going today. It did briefly run but stopped again and refused to play. I'll maybe buy a new spark plug and try again tomorrow
Well I bit the bullet and bought a new spark plug and it started ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Phew. I put it through a bit of ground I forked over the other day after throwing down some granular fertiliser and then planted out my overwintering onion sets. . They should have gone into the ground last October but I didn't get them till much later so they've been started off in trays and pots and been in the cold greenhouse, followed by the cold frames, followed by sitting out at the plot and now into the ground.
Really good root systems and with the weather set to be mild this next week they have every chance of getting established quick time
Mornin n'alln'all
Looks like I may have persuaded OH to join me at a Vide Grenier today(car boot sale) So long as we are back before the rugby starts!
First one of the year locally
Looks like another lovely day ahead so another weeding sesh ahead me thinks.
I'm hoping we can get all the ground prepared...for the first time EVER before early June!...before the weather changes towards the end of the week.
