Washing is on the line in quick time this morning. Warming up slowly
A lovely weekend was had, out for a friends birthday and mother’s day dinner out with Daughters lot.
Would never do it again, the wait to be seated, ordered and delivered was horrendous. Food was lovely, but staff were stretched to the limit.
So it’s Monday, all plants are present and correct as I left them, new ones settling in ok. Hubby has been playing with his new mower, the lawn is looking great.

Flower seed sowing, in the greenhouse, and local shopping on the list - might go mad and wash a bedspread as well (spring cleaning fever starting?

Plenty of drizzle yesterday. 10 litres (mm) per square metre. Depending on which forecast you look at, more might be due today as well. Perfect for our new gravel road (a steep slope, so heavy rain would send it all to the bottom of the hill), but more would be better for the veg patch. Can't have it all, I guess.
Busy day today. Then slowing down again. Still haven't quite got this 'get a life' sorted. Getting there, though.

Morning, cool but clear, no frost last night though it was a lovely starry night, minimum of 5 degrees in the greenhouse. Managed a 5 mile cycle ride yesterday as part of the getting back to full speed regime, might try another today if it stays dry.Comment

Had a lovely day yesterday..Vide Grenier to start with (bought a low table for the garden for €4) then prepared a slow roast brisket ...then went to the piccies to see The Favourite..then a lovely meal at home with a bottle of fizz.

Up early myself today...off out in a sec -busy day ahead.
Just drinking a quick cuppa then off. Bit nippy out there...but at least we don't have a frost....( I worry about my fruit tree blossoms -all our plums are coming into flower now and we've not had many for a few years now)

Afternoon all,what lovely weather we have had,sons worked hard clearing the rubish/dump area of the garden,looks much bigger now,2 tree stumps need to be removed,when time allows,slow but sure,1 day,just 1 day before i die,i might get to see what set out to be a garden make over all done,started on the lottie bit yesterday and got the onions in,plus 1 of the little path ways,awaiting a new lease off life to get more from home to the plot,poly nearly ready for the cover down the the plot,my word i ache,doing nothing is not going to get owt done,also got MR out and had first picnic and brew on our new patch,so it is now open hehehe,have a good afternoon all,and Bgood2yrselves.sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of these

I'm back
Had to nip out to sort out some official paperwork....and it's all happily sorted
Managed to pop into a sweet little cafe and had hot chocolate and a couple of pastries for breakfast mmm....
Darn, this diet is going to have to start again very soon
Looks like we have your rain too -Tis pretty nippy out there just now. At least we had time to get the gardens looking nice during that warm dry spell

Afternoon all, seems we had rain for most of the night, temps low though only 3 degrees out there, sowed another row of radishes in the greenhouse and it looks like the chillies will want potting on soon, proper leaves now and I am now doing my bee impersonation with a paint brush on the flowers of the over wintered chillie.Comment
